Digimon Adventure
I suppose it’s not a secret that I really like Digimon Adventure. ^^; And in the past few months perhaps I’ve been posting pretty much only that. (Sorry!!)
It’s a Digimon Adventure mail day! I received Storyboards of Digimon Adventure, with drawings from the director, Mamoru Hosoda. It’s pretty thick, because it includes drawings from Digimon Adventure (the movie), Episode 21 from Digimon Adventure (TV episode), and Bokura no War Game. Episode 21 and Bokura no War Game are a few of my favorites, so I’m really happy to get this book. I also got a Digimon Doujinshi, mainly because I thought the artwork was cute. ^^; Yay, new things. :)
Having Digimon on the mind also means that whenever I’m doodling I tend to doodle Taichi, my favorite character in Adventure. It’s just a small sketch on some scrap paper. ^^ I’m taking a 10-week watercolor class now, so in between waiting for my flowers and landscapes to dry I need to do something with my time. ^^; Painting takes a lot of patience…but it feels good to be doing something different too. :)

Last week I attended the Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses in San Francisco. In preparation I wanted to complete Skyward Sword (in case of any spoilers!) Luckily, actually they didn’t have any so all was well. XD; But in any case, since then I’ve been on a little Zelda kick:
One of the coolest things about SS is that Zelda has a Tingle plush! I loooove Tingle…;_; He’s so weird and cute and maybe a bit gross but I love him. Hahaha.
The background is still incomplete, and a bit of a “must put something there” type things… ^^; I’ll finish this up later, as I’ve already started a Link & Fi sketch. XD;;; But oh it feels good to color again! I feel like it’s been a long time, because ever since the beginning of March I’ve been slammed with just a lot of random things like work/personal/birthdays/etc.
But it’s April now and I have classes starting next week and summer registration coming up too. I’ll be super busy again with projects I kinda put on the back burner last month… but I think can make things work!
Thinking of Digimon Adventure has me doodling Taichi all over my sketchbook. <3 A little Taichi spam, sorry. ^_^;
The past few weeks I’ve been slammed with work, so my free time was sucked away. :( But I’ve been trying to get back on track. A few weeks ago when I had some free time I signed up for swap-bot and joined a few ATC swaps. It’s great because I can draw something tiny and I get to mail it off to someone, and I have set deadlines! I just hope that they enjoy it. ^^;
This ATC was for a video game starting with the letter “H”. It was a bit difficult for me because all I could think of was “Harvest Moon”. I would have drawn it but I’m not familiar with the characters. So I opted for the vocaloid 3DS game: ‘Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai’. It still starts with “H”, right? ^^; And I get to draw Miku! :D
Yesterday was surprisingly Zelda themed. ^^ After a long day I came home and this was waiting for me, along with my replacement set of Zelda 25th Anniversary posters from Club Nintendo. That, and I almost finished my Link puzzle on my 3DS, (but I was too consumed with trying to get pink pieces via street pass). XD;
I just need to get through the last silent realm and finish up Skyward Sword because I have Rhythm Heaven Fever waiting for me. Yay! XD;;;;
